Education in Rutland ~ “Successful and Aspiring”

Rutland County Council is proud of the education service available for the children, young people and adults of Rutland. This is a service which values the partnership between home and school/college in order that the highest possible standards are achieved.

In the Rutland Education Development Plan, which has been praised by OfSTED, there is a clear statement of intent.

The Education Service in Rutland has high expectations and aims to achieve high standards for all learners; to enable all learners to achieve their potential; and to develop all aspects of the learner through close collaboration with, and building on the strengths of, those involved in the service.

Please help all of us to achieve that potential for all learners in Rutland. With our combined efforts we can nurture and develop the next generation who will take their place in society as mature, confident and articulate citizens; we can increase the life chances of adults who are engaged in skills training; we can improve the quality of life for all.
